WHAT MOHAMED ELNENY SAID ABOUT LEAVING ARSENAL
In a video message, he said: "Gunners. I am here today to send you a message to say goodbye and thank you for everything you have done for me. The love, support, and kindness; I am going to miss you so much and you will be in my heart forever. THE BIGGER PICTURE
Elneny has been a loyal servant for Arsenal over the past eight-and-a-half years. He helped them win the FA Cup in 2017 and was part of the sides that reached the finals of the League Cup a year later and the Europa League in 2019. While he was on the fringes in recent years, his Arsenal legacy is intact.
