Former Real Madrid youngster Sergio Arribas dramatically saved a drowning couple during his summer vacation in the Maldives.

The 22-year-old playmaker is holidaying in the Indian Ocean after seeing the 2023-24 campaign come to a close. He spent last season on the books of Almeria, registering six goals for them through 34 appearances on the back of completing a transfer from Santiago Bernabeu.

Arribas is a product of Real’s famed academy system and took in 14 senior outings for Los Blancos, scoring one goal, before deciding to go in search of more regular game time elsewhere. He is working on a six-year contract at Almeria – who have been relegated out of La Liga.
